

Parkin Sports Centre at LSF nominated for Charnwood Design Awards!
We are delighted that the new Parkin Sports Centre at Loughborough Schools Foundation has been shortlisted in The Charnwood Design Awards 2019! The Sports Centre includes a multi-use Sports Hall, Fitness Suite with strength and cardio equipment, a Dance Studio and brand new Changing Rooms. New School Year
Three of our school projects were handed over this month, ready for the start of the new academic year: The extensions and internal alterations at Dove Bank Primary School in Nailstone have provided the school with a large extended hall, new classrooms, staffroom, group rooms. A small area of the existing entrance corridor was successfully transformed into the new school library, creating an open and attractive area for children that the school hope will encourage reading. 2
Congratulations Graduates!
We would like to congratulate two of our own - Daisy Clapp and Vytas Zalys for their recent academic success! We are proud of their hard work and determination in achieving the highest results. Daisy graduated her Bachelor's degree (RIBA Part 1) with a First Class Honours, while Vytas achieved Distinction in his Master's degree (RIBA Part 2), which he managed to do part-time whilst working at A+G Architects. A beautiful day in Loughborough calls for a site visit. The new sports hall for Loughborough High School is nearing its completion. A planning application has been submitted for a new dementia care home in the Ashby Road Conservation Area, Loughborough. The new development will provide much needed specialised care for the growing community of people living with dementia related illnesses in the area.
