Three of our school projects were handed over this month, ready for the start of the new academic year:
The extensions and internal alterations at Dove Bank Primary School in Nailstone have provided the school with a large extended hall, new classrooms, staffroom, group rooms. A small area of the existing entrance corridor was successfully transformed into the new school library, creating an open and attractive area for children that the school hope will encourage reading.
2 new classrooms and external seating area were completed at Hall Orchard Primary School, Barrow upon Soar - the latest of several phases of works that A+G have carried out for the school in recent years. The new ‘amphitheatre’ will provide seating for 60 children and have transformed an otherwise underused area.
Finally, the existing foundation block at St Cuthbert’s Primary School, Great Glen, was extended to provide space for an additional 15 children and internal works in the existing school building were completed. These form part of the overall expansion of the school which are ongoing.
