Final Snagging on Lottery Funded Heritage Centre

Receiving a Heritage Lottery Fund of £604,000 has helped a local community to plan a three year project of heritage activities on the site of St Helen's Church in Ashby de la Zouch.

Incorporated within the plan is the heritage centre which has a state of the art kitchen, a beautiful garden to explore and will be available to hire for various functions as well as having displays showing items from the excavation site and unseen items from the church itself.

A+G Architects turned up on a bright and sunny day to do some final snagging before the centre is officially opened. With craft courses on the agenda to learn stone carving, stained glass creation and candle making we can't wait for everything to be complete.
