This project was for a small local library, the primary aim was to create a light and airy space for people to enjoy reading in. With this in mind the design was a simple one in which light could flood into the open plan spaces, a split level roof not only allowed for high level glazing, but also created a more enclosed area in which people could fully relax and enjoy a book.
