The project called for the refurbishment of a conference/educational facility and student bar. The creation of a landmark roof element that encloses an existing external courtyard created an excellent internal atrium space, which can be used for a range of activities. 

 

The striking form makes the building a highly identifiable focal and social hub to all who visit the university.
