This project was to replace the existing dining facilities and provide new facilities for residential students.

​

The project included a dining area for 250 students and kitchen facilities for “Refresh” (the universities own prepared food), which included offices and other ancillary areas as well as preparation and storage areas.

 

The new hall is an extension to the 1950's Martin Hall Theatre and therefore creating a design that would prevent the movement of sound between the two buildings was paramount.
